Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 15 (3) of Local Government, Municipal Planning and Perfomance Management 2001, Section 44 of the Municipal Systems Act no 32 of 2000 and Section 22 (a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003, a Draft IDP and Budget for 2013/14 have been adopted

NOTICE NO: 25/2012

Gariep Local Municipality had developed a Risk Management Policy and Fraud Prevention Plan to reduce risk identified and to curb all the fradulent activities within our Local Municipality.  This is as per the Local Government Municipal Management Act,  Act 56 of 2003 and Local Government Anti-Corruption Strategy.

Therefore, if you suspect any fraud or any fraudulent activities that maybe taking place in the municipality, you can inform the Mayor, Municipal Manager on (051) 653 0595 or call the National Anti Corruption Forum on: 0800  701 701 or Public Protector RSA: 0800 112 040.
